Full-Time- Permanent
Weekdays and Weekend (will be required to work at least one weekend a month): 9:00am to 5:00pm
Salary Range: $23 per hour
Proposed Start Date: 14th April 2025
Trial/Probation Period: 840.00 work hours
Administrative Support Responsibilities:
-Answering phone calls, handling emails and responding to correspondence professionally.
-Managing calendars, scheduling appointments and records management.
-Responding to clients’ requests, creating and updating care plans.
-Updating daily task schedules.
-Creating marketing strategies, attending meetings, conferences and events.
-Assisting with budget tracking, invoice processing, following up with payments, and HR processes.
-Ensuring the office area is clean and organised, keeping track of office supplies.
-Providing administrative support to senior staff and other team members.
-Other responsibilities as assigned.
Healthcare Support Responsibilities:
-Assisting clients with personal care such as bathing, grooming, dressing and toileting.
-Assisting client with mobility, including helping clients move in and out of bed, use walkers, or wheelchairs.
-Assisting clients with physical exercise, providing companionship and emotional support.
-Helping with housekeeping such as cleaning, laundry and preparing meals.
-Ensuring clients have a safe and clean environment. Update authorized family members.
-Other duties as assigned.
Qualifications:
Minimum Formal Education/Training:
-Education in Business Administration, Marketing or related field is required.
-Education in Healthcare related field preferred.
Must hold a class 5f drivers’ licence, as the role involves travel and mobility
Experience:
-Minimum two years of directly related administrative experience required.
– Minimum two years of directly related healthcare experience required.
– Minimum two years of directly related marketing experience required.
– An acceptable equivalent combination of education and experience may be considered.
Skills and Abilities:
-Experience with Microsoft Office for Windows is required, ie Word, Excel, Outlook, PPT and TEAMS required.
-Ability to market, present to potential clients and organizations is required.
-Must be self-directed, take own initiative, organize workload, prioritize to meet deadlines and complete complex administrative and secretarial tasks.
-Accuracy and attention to detail is essential.
-Excellent written and oral communication skills are essential.
-Ability to work in harmony with others and to work as a team member and collaboratively with all levels
-Must be able to relate to a diverse racial/ethnic population
-Must be able to work independently for extended periods of time.
-Ability to communicate assertively required.
-Must assist other staff members during peak workload conditions.
-Ability to maintain confidentiality, tact, and diplomacy are essential.
– Satisfactory work record, including satisfactory attendance and punctuality, is required.
